Wolfeboro, NH (June 30, 2026) — The Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County proudly dedicated its headquarters as the Lynne Steiner Center on Tuesday, June 30, during a ceremony celebrating the life, compassion, and enduring legacy of Lynne Steiner.

Family, friends, and supporters gathered to recognize the transformational impact of Lynne's legacy and the extraordinary generosity of her husband, Nelson Steiner, whose gift will help ensure the Center can continue serving children and families for generations to come.

The Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County serves children throughout Carroll County who have experienced abuse by providing forensic interviews, family advocacy, coordinated multidisciplinary interventions and connections to medical and mental health services. The Center's child-focused approach reduces trauma while helping children and families begin the healing process.

Speaking about Nelson Steiner's gift, Executive Director Elizabeth Kelley-Scott said:

"Nelson's extraordinary gift is far more than an investment in a building. His generosity provides stability, strengthens our ability to serve children for generations to come, and ensures that this building will remain a place of healing, justice, and hope."

The ceremony concluded with a ribbon cutting and the formal dedication of the building as the Lynne Steiner Center.
